This DAC has been developed for customers who first priority are the specifications!  This DAC has not the very best figures int he world, but still above average to adjust the sound a little bit and keep it pleasent. This DAC has very low distortion and it does not have the audio-gd house style sound.

Audio-GD offers measuring results for every single unit executed by the AP SYS-2722 measuring system. Anyone is welcome to confirm and verify measurements by professional instruments.

Audio-GD confirms 2nd THD makes the sound become smooth and rich, 3rd THD makes the sound become transparent and lively. How to adjust the level of 2nd and 3rd THD is their secret technology. This makes the typical Audio-GD sound and has not bee applied in this manner to the AS-1. Be aware!

CLEAN POWER

The DAC consist of a tuned low noise, low flux leakage, R-cores transformer. to supply all digital parts and the left and right analog boards. The DC power is distributed over several separate power regulators. Analogue stages are pure class A low noise shunts; fed by 3 groups linear power supplies. Resulting in ultra-high speed and clean power for all individual parts.
