Integrated amplifier with massive power
Audio-GD presents us once again the quintessence of technology in audio with this Master 10 MK2 amplifier with a more than neat and clean architecture. The famous brand of high fidelity audio offers us here an amplifier in the most accomplished form possible with outstanding performances: it delivers 2x 250W under 8 Ohm or 2x 500W under 4 Ohm. Each product of the brand is scrupulously tested with one of the most powerful systems in the world: the Audio Analysers 2700 Series from Audio Precision.
This Master 10 MK2 is equipped with no less than 4 transformers including 2 R-Core for a total of 1500W, 140.000uF of very high end capacitors, and 24 very high performance ON Semiconductor transistors for the output stage. This amplifier is also designed around a purely symmetrical discrete ACSS circuit, with a separate power supply to avoid any interference or electromagnetic disturbances on the signal. The volume control is also optimized, having 4 channels and 99 steps, digitally controlled by relays to avoid any channel balance problem and improve the sound quality.
Linear Fidelity & Non Negative Feedback
For this MK2 Edition of its Master 10, Audio-GD has updated its Class A amplifier to offer even better audio measurements. Audio-GD integrates Linear Fidelity technology to the output circuits and Non Negative Feedback to the amplifier in general. This particular design allows to obtain a linear response curve as well as a very low level of distortion, for a sound reproduction of a very great transparency and this whatever the output level and the reproduced frequency.
“Linear Fidelity” Technology (Patent Pending)
The Master 10 output stages are using spectacular technology developed by Audio-GD in-house and is referred as “Linear Fidelity”. (patent pending) The output stages have zero negative feedback, which normally means increased and unwanted distortion. Most power amp designs show increased distortion when the output level increases. The full frequency band’s distortion level increases even more, specially the low and high frequencies. The special Audio-GD “Linear Fidelity” technology can keep the distortion low and steady at all levels. This results in ultra linear performance. The ultra low distortion of this non-negative feedback amplifier is achieved by its ultra linear behavior of the amplifier. This results in a very transparent and analogue sound stage.
HIGH PRECISION VOLUME CONTROL
Volume control consist of relay-controlled attenuators. Fully-independent, fully-balanced stereo volume controls. The volume controls feature consist of high-precision 0.05% tolerance film resistors and golden contact relays. Buffered inputs and outputs.There 4 channels volume boards are built in the unit to achieve ultimate balanced volume control. They are controlled by a digital signal controlling the high quality relays switching the precision resistors in analog area.
Quality of volume control is very important in balanced applications . It have to effectuate the four channels to work as synchronous as possible to keep the balanced signal in perfect shape. In traditional volume controls the balanced output will introduce distortion which will negatively influence sound quality and performance and might even get worse than a single ended setup and waste the advantages of balanced designed solution.
Power Supply
Massive use of high power parts and robust power supply guarantee vigorous current output that drives most complex loudspeakers. Master-10 applies four channels of diamond non-feedback output stages composed of 24 pieces of ON Semiconductor transistors . The capacitance of the whole machine is over 140,000uF. Two enormous transformers are used with total power of 1500W as well as 2 R-Core transformers to power the preamp section

Après vingt heures de rodage(surement plus de deux cent heures minimum pour le must ) il chauffe comme mon tube. Le son est deja incroyable. Dynamique et grave tenu dans une main de fer, et med aigus detaillés et doux. L image est deja au debut holigraphique, et clarté et finesse sont au rendez vous. Certe il n est pas encore prêt a. Regater avec mon cayin cs150 base kt150. Mais sur qu il vas être au plus proche. Les graves seront bien plus physique et articulé a souhait. Un vrais king du transistor. Idéal avec un dac holo audio qui profite de sa liquidité et sa fluidité rythmique sans faille. Un magnifique ensemble en devenir. Merci a jos pour ses infos judicieuse. J ai apris la possibilité chez audii gd d installé une entrée en pré amplifiée. Si l envie de transformer se king, miam. Meme si sa sectiin pré integré na pas a rougir de pré specialisé bien connu, cela donne un upgrade possible. Il peut tous piloté sans probleme, sa construction tres serieuse avec le non negative feedback et l ultra linear syst. Un delice a ecouté. Je suis resolument charmé pas se beau et gros bébé. Recommendé sans probleme a tous audioohile ou et melomane. Ecoute pure analogique.

I learned the possibility at audii gd to install a pre-amplified input. If the desire to transform is king, yum. Even if its pre integrated section does not have to be ashamed of well known pre specialized, it gives a possible upgrade. It can all be driven without problem, its very serious construction with non negative feedback and the ultra linear system. A delight listened. I am resolutely charmed by this beautiful and big baby. Recommended without problem to all audiophiles and music lovers. Pure analog listening.

The Master 10 is the perfect amp to me. It delivers loads of power with the transparency in all frequencies at the same time to deliver the best live feel you could get. Great stage with music that sounds as recorded. It is value for money that is not delivered by any other amp i know. With the Magna service that is at 5 star level only..

The Chinese can build really good audio, as the Master 10 proves !. What a beast this is, endless power and a lot of drive. But despite that, the amplifier also has a very open sound with a lot of detail and a wide image. Compared to my Audionet, the Master 10 sounds more powerful and more open, but very rich at softer volumes.

I purchased this amp after I have had many other amplifiers. None of the amplifiers could really drive my speakers. Except for this amp. Its rather fantastic! Sound is much crisper and more agile than any other amp I have tried (and some were much more expensive too!!)
The power is insane and sound is unbeatable.
One “downsite” is its heavy!
Next thing is a new dac, the R7 it will be!
