Planar Sounds Better
Since the conductor layer (voice coil) on the diaphragm of the planar headphone is evenly distributed on the surface of the diaphragm, the electromagnetic force that drives the diaphragm to vibrate and produce sound acts much more uniformly than the voice cool acts on the surface of the cone-type diaphragm of the dynamic headphone. Ultimately, the phase distortion is much lower, the spatial information of the sound reproduction suffers less loss than dynamic headphones, while providing a much larger sound stage and better positioning.
The result? Ananda Nano has a wide frequency range – 5Hz to 55kHz. The three-dimensional sound field wraps around the listener’s ears, with the positioning and imaging of musical instruments are as precise as if experienced in a live performance.
Acoustically Invisible Stealth Magnet
Portable Device, Ready to Drive
High sensitivity that allows use with virtually any smartphone or portable audio device. Low distortion and amazing sound quality.
“The ANANDA has been one of our most popular headphones since we introduced it in 2018,” said Dr. Fang Bian, Founder and CEO, HIFIMAN. “But with the development of the Nanometer Thickness Diaphragm, we saw a clear path to improving on its performance while maintaining the wide soundstage and pleasing musicality that made the original model an audiophile favorite.”
