This I2S cable is designed for connecting the Pink Faun I2S bridge and a I2S DAC. These cables can be fitted with different brands or type connectors such as RJ45, BNC and mini DIN on request. The cable is constructed with Pink Faun non-inductive tinned copper cable which guarantees a consistent quality in the future. The standard length is 1 meter.

The Pink Faun Digital Cable Series are all made by hand by our own craftsmen. Each digital cable is designed for its specific task. All of these fully-handmade cables have one very important feature in common: they are made with our in-house developed, non-inductive tin-plated copper conductors, extruded through a framework of ultra-low dielectric fabrics and PTFE tubing. During the design of the Pink Faun Digital cables, we approach digital as an analogue signal that’s interpreted as 1 or 0 by the sender and receiver. The Digital Cable Series are all designed to minimize the influence of the cable while transporting the digital signal. Our cables are very neutral, without any harshness or coloration. Pink Faun IL-1 I2S received today and immediately connected!
For price reasons, the Pink Faun / Audioquest comparison is not the point of what follows at all, as these two cables are not comparable.
From the first notes, the sound rendering of the Pink Faun is already above that of the Audioquest, and the cable has only just been installed!
So I tested it on very complex symphonic music, with a lot of melodic lines, where the Audioquest seemed to lack analysis by a somewhat blurry rendering, as on dynamic flights as well .. Well the Pink Faun s frees from these complex messages with disconcerting, almost insolent ease! the whole message is rendered very faithfully, nothing is missing, a host of details are updated with this cable! It is clear that the Pink Faun really comes to taunt its competitors!
