I do think the HE-560 is better for most purposes, although it is more difficult to drive. However if you listen to music without drums, you may just prefer the thickness of the Hifiman Sundara.”
Inside is also a new diaphragm that is 80% thinner than the older versions, “which results in a wider frequency response from 6Hz to 76kHz at 37 ohms and 94dB sensitivity.” These indeed fit very nicely on my head and first impressions were very positive (I’d need to spend more time with these to properly evaluate).

“I was impressed by the sense of depth in the Hifiman Sundara. It is a bigger sense of depth than the 400i and felt on par with the HE-560.
