   Hello, i owned the DI20 for a year now and this piece of gear has been a tremendous change on my system which is not a HiFi system at the origin. I am making mastering for music production so the chain i own is very special, my monitors are ME GEITHAIN RL 901 K (https://sonicpurity.com.au/blog/2017/9/27/me-geithain-active-speakers) and my DAC is a MADA , AD-DA (from Fred FORSELL TECHNOLOGIES) one due its job in the studio. I just have a volume controler from him too and that ’s it to listen music. I am on TIDAL .
   The DI20 has opened the sound in many ways, the treebles are crystal clear and the bass goes deeper, but the most significant is that it’s now tri-dimentionnal instead of being stereo !!! the sound is out of the speakers ! so this is really a beautiful DI to add to any system that need a new one or for somebody who is searching to get one ! Thn’x to Magnat Hifi !

   I’ve had a DI-20 for a while and now I can pronounce it completely because it has stood the test of time. First I hesitated whether to go for the almost double version at the DI-20HE price. Maybe in the future I will go for the “HE” version. For now, this DI-20 is proving to be a substantial improvement in the sound quality of the Audio-gd R8 DAC (model 2021). When he had just arrived it only took me a few minutes to realize that it was a (big) step forward. I didn’t have much to compare, with the DI-20 the sound is much better in every way. The difference is so great that there is no need for too intense comparisons. From the first minute I realized and so it has remained in the audio system until today. I connect the DI-20 (which receives a signal from the PC via USB type A-B) with the R8 via HDMI (I2S). I’m not interested in other options. I listen to both PCM and DSD files. One more thing, although the sound improvement due to the DI-20 is really very big, the quality of the interconnect cables (USB, HDMI, signal) still matters as much, but also the quality of the USB output from the PC. Another advantage for the cheaper model DI-20, is cold, it does not heat up at all. The quality / price ratio is excellent for this model! 5 stars!

   Echt de kers op de taart! Tijdje terug een r2r 11 dac gekocht bij magna hifi en nu uitgebreid met de DI-20. De di-20 staat nu een aantal dagen in m’n audio set. Absoluut een verbetering, geluid is er overall sterk op vooruit gegaan. ’t klinkt nu zoals het hoort! En dank u wel Magna Hifi voor het advies en de erg vlotte service.

     Really the icing on the cake! Bought a r2r 11 dac a while back at magna hifi and now expanded with the DI-20. The di-20 has been in my audio set for a few days now. Definitely an improvement, sound has improved overall. it now sounds as it should! And thank you Magna Hifi for the advice and the very smooth service.

   The DI-20 is a very good interface for use with Audio-gd DACs. It runs cool to the touch, it is silent. It offers high rate data via ACSS and I2S (native Audio-gd format of course) and supports DSD as well as PCM.

   It shares the same display and case color and height with other Audio-gd devices so it makes a handsome and harmonious match to your system.

   The AES/EBU output does not work with one of my TASCAM devices but it does with another. For the price and if you don’t depend on AES/EBU (which will probably work with your device but may not) and you have an Audio-gd DAC then this is definitely worth buying. The HE is said to have even better sound quality but it does get hot which I did not want. So this unit at the price could be a very worthy compromise.

   Jos is very responsive and friendly, and keeps you informed during the buying process. I recommend Magna Hifi as a top source of Audio-gd gear in Europe.

   Support from Kingwa at Audio-gd is very good. Great gear, great people, what else can we ask for? :)

   Every day I enjoy the quiet reproduction with silky soft refined highs and the beautiful warm glow and body in the midrange. The spatial representation is perfectly fine in terms of depth and width.
