Extremely low phase noise crystal oscillator (< 90dBc @ 10Hz) is intended for professional recording equipment as well as audiophile electronics precision devices.
Valued for their low power consumption ( 20mA @ 15pF) the Accusilicon clocks also have a high resistance to thermal stresses (operational from -20 to 85 ° C).
This component integration is nice and easy. It is powered by 3.3V (within +/- 0.3V) and give excellent results with a 0.1uF capacitor filtered power supply.

Immediate impression (even with DAC still cold) is a better resolution more defined bass and structure and « room ». Like it, definitely was worth doing it.
I highly recommend the Audio-GD – 2x Accusilicon AS318B Femto Clock Upgrade (90M & 98M) upgrade.

Medio mei 2019 zijn de twee Accusilicon 318B femtoklok kristal modules door Jos ingebouwd die de TCXO kristal modules vervingen.
Medio juni, bijna een maand na het inbouwen Accusilicon kristal modules, kreeg ik een nieuwe upgrade in de vorm van twee DA7 V2 DAC-modules die door Rob in mijn Audio-GD R7-HE (met regeneratieve voeding) zijn ingevbouwd.
Met beide upgrades klinkt de ladder DAC in combinatie met mijn Master 1-HE (eveneens met regeneratieve voeding) voorversterker op mijn eindversterker. Erg ruimtelijk! Sinds 2018 staat de V3S firmware
op de R7 DAC. Tussen R7 DAC en voorversterker hangt een Audiomaat M-WAY ACSS kabel (mini XLR). Tussen vooversterker en eindversterker zit een zilver Sharkwire SSC-L01 RCA kabel (omdat de eindversterker geen gebalanceerde ingangen heeft).
Ik luister heel veel klassieke muziek. Viool solisten spelen nu als solist in een orkest er omheen. Ik geniet van viool sonates. Symfonieen met een groot orkest klinken erg ruimtelijk. Het koper klinkt levensecht. Ook de pauken roffels hoor je als krachtige roffels.
Bij popmuziek hoor je nu het fijne slagwerk en cymbalen klinken mooi uit in een soort ruis.
Ik ben erg blij met de 2 upgrades die door Kingwa ter beschikking zijn gesteld als updates. En dat Magnahifi een uitstekende service levert in Nederland. We hebben niet een nieuw apparaat hoeven aan te schaffen.
