Voici mon expérience, ce DAC a nécessité chez moi une période de rodage conséquente. En effet lors des premières écoutes on est sans voix devant les qualités de cet appareil puis au bout de 2 ou 3 jours le son devient crispé, comme saturé. Ayant déjà eu cette expérience sur un R8 j’ai laissé fonctionner le R7 24/24 pendant 2 semaines et je me suis aperçu qu’au bout d’environ 700 heures, soit 400 de plus que celles annoncées par audio gd le son se délivre complètement et devient très naturel, complètement décrispé et simplement magnifique !
Un appareil de très grande classe que je ne suis pas prêt de changer...
Relié en acss avec les câbles mway, on va encore plus loin !

Master-3 is a fine power audio from the high-end category. Don't be fooled by the low price! Something similar from a famous name (with a lot of marketing behind it) costs at least 4 times that price.
The construction and materials are top notch, it couldn't be better. In reality, it looks better than in the photos posted on the internet. And let's not forget, it weighs 40 Kg!
The sound is perfectly neutral. But in a good, positive sense, that is, not neutral-boring, but neutral-very correct. Exactly what audio quality you put on the input is exactly what amplifies. So it depends a lot on the source but also on the preamplifier. It reaches the highest quality on the ACSS inputs.
I amplify the Triangle Genese Lyrr speakers and it control them perfectly. I have tried many other amplifiers so far (even more, more expensive in price than this) but Master-3 it controls them the best and the effect is unitary sound, all speakers sound as if they were one. This is called maximum coherence and this is the best result of maximum control! The merit of the ultimate audio power.
As the frequency band seems to have no limits. I heard extremely low sounds that I didn't know in those recordings and I often have the feeling that some sounds are heard from outside the house, it plays so naturally and spatially!
It is very transparent in sound and lacks specific colors. Not in a sterile way but in a very natural way, including the feeling of natural and real.
It just sounds so good that it doesn't seem to have a certain audio amplifier with a certain color. That is, it does what an amplifier has to do ..... just amplify exactly what it receives without adding or modifying anything.
The working temperature is not exaggerated. It is quite warm but not excessive. The sound depends a lot on the quality of the current from the power supply network but also on the quality of the cables.
I am very pleased.
Communication with Jos was exceptional! I was served as a VIP client even though I am far away and I only communicated in writing on the internet.

After ordering, delivery was fast, because it was on stock. My MicroRendo has USB out and I needed a converter, which has data simultaneously available in AES, SPDIF (RCA and optical), I2S (HDMI, RJ45) format. Instead of the included PSU, I powered it with a SBooster 9V lineair power supply and the USB port with a SBooster 5V lineair power supply. I use two DACs simultaneously, a Sabre DAC for the loudspeakers, a NOS DAC for the headphone. This is the best sound, I can get with my DAC's, even Spotify sounds like near_CD quality. This is a DDC and just a link in your whole equipment chain, so the final sound depends on the rest of your installation. But as they say "garbage in, garbage out", the source quality is the start of the chain.

I'm using the Mano Ultra for more than a year and it is sounding and working excellent using the Logitech Sqeezebox Duet Remote Control and the good old Audio-gd DAC-200. I'm very pleased with the clear and effortless sound. Well done, Magna Hifi !

You really haven't promised too much. The Matrix is an excellent device, works flawlessly and without delays with the Mconnect APP and is (especially in the high and mid range) incredibly accurate and clear. Then my homemade hi-fi berry falls off. The other devices couldn't keep up with the sound either. I couldn't distinguish a tonal difference between Wi-Fi and a directly connected hard drive.

Not a word too much when I say: Great streamer!

Just wanted to report that the Mano Ultra working as a Roon end point with the I2S HDMI output going to my PS Audio DAC.

It sounds just terrific. Noise floor seems non existent and it seems to me the dynamic range has been expanded. I am so pleased and excited! Thank you for your ongoing efforts to help me get this squared away. I LOVE it!

That gave me time to uninstall my pro-ject streamer & dac in my office.

Now that the devices have worked very well, I wanted to briefly report how they sound.
I can make it short, it's a dream. This combination + the Hifiman Arya are really hard to beat. Once I start listening to music, I almost can't stop.
It's just a lot of fun and a real joy.
You dive in and forget everything around you.

nachdem sich nun die Geräte sehr gut eingespielt haben, wollte ich kurz berichten wie sie klingen.
Ich kann es kurz machen, es ist ein Traum. Diese Kombi + der Hifiman Arya sind echt kaum zu schlagen. Einmal angefangen damit Musik zu hören, kann ich fast nicht mehr aufhören.
Es macht einfach nur richtig viel Spaß und es ist eine echte Freude.
Man taucht ab und vergisst um sich herum alles.
Vielen, vielen Dank für den tollen Service und die tollen Tipps.

Was ist das für ein Klang!

Ich habe so etwas noch nie gehört! Ich hätte niemals gedacht, dass es solch einen großen sUnterschied zu meinem Oppo-Player ausmachen könnte und auch nicht zu meiner gepimpten Squeezebox Touch. Die beiden Geräte sind schon gut. Aber das sind noch einmal Welten auf meiner Avantgarde Acoustic Zero 1 XD. Scheint perfekt zu harmonieren.

Vielen, vielen Dank das ihr euch so viel Mühe gegeben habt das Streaming zu perfektionieren und uns daran teilhaben lässt. Krasse Dynamik, krasser klarer Sound! Wow!

Du hast wirklich nicht zuviel versprochen. Der Matrix ist ein ausgezeichnetes Gerät, funktioniert fehlerfrei und ohne Verzögerungen mit der Mconnect APP und ist (gerade im Hoch- und Mitteltonbereich) unglaublich präzise und klar. Da fällt dann mein selbstgebauter Hifi-Berry doch ab. Auch die anderen Geräte konnten da klanglich nicht mithalten. Zwischen Wlan und direkt angeschlossener Festplatte konnte ich keinen klanglichen Unterschied ausmachen.

The May arrived safely and is gorgeous. The case feels very solid, without any sharp edges and of very high quality. The sound is so clear, spacious and smooth. As such, I am very happy :)

It is interesting, that the locking takes some time - I read about this. While other DACs seem to be able to switch immediately, I do not mind this at all.

The Air is so dense that you can’t breathe sometimes…due to the thickness and the humidity…
Didn´t know, that this is possible with a digital source…I had no idea…

Mano ULTRA Streamer has just arrived, was installed without difficulties, Qobuz was activated and it plays wonderful. Excellent service and very fast communication plus response to any question by the Magna Hifi team. I am sure it was not my last purchase at Magna Hifi. Highly recommended.
