ES9038 Q2M DAC CHIP X2
The audio decoding of the DMP-A6 is entrusted to two ESS ES9038 Q2M DAC chips, a high-performance model widely recognized by audiophiles. It also supports high-resolution audio streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512, as well as decoding of MQA files.
LCD Touch Screen
The high-definition 6″ LCD touch screen perfectly integrated into the aluminum chassis of the DMP-A6 allows practical and ergonomic use. The user experience is intended to be as intuitive as possible. Thus, it is possible to access all player options and information through this beautiful interface.
High speed SSD support
The DMP-A6 is equipped with an integrated memory 4GB DDR + 32GB eMMC to be able to use many applications.
A slot compatible with a 4TB M.2 NVME 2280 SSD is provided for installation without removing the cover and allowing you to store your music locally and access it extremely quickly. In addition, the use of an SSD rather than a hard disk makes it possible to reduce the temperature and the vibrations of the device.
Low noise switching power supply module
The DMP-A6 features a low-noise power supply module, several capacitors reduce interference. In addition, the filter circuit is specially designed for AC current input and reduces high frequency noise from 100KHz to 5MHz ensuring continuous power, smoother background noise and clearer musical details.
Multichannel DSD HDMI DOH Chip
Equipped with DOH processing chips for HDMI, the DMP-A6 can transcribe a DSD master sound signal with high HDMI clock precision.
MQA Decoder
The DMP-A6 incorporates an MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) decoder, allowing you to play this type of file and enjoy sound quality as close as possible to the original studio recording. In addition, MQA streams are light enough to be streamed.
Bluetooth 5.0
The Bluetooth 5.0 reception of the DMP-A6 uses a Qualcomm QCC5125 chip. This supports the SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD and LDAC high-definition transmission codecs, allowing you to enjoy high-quality sound reproduction via Bluetooth.
Smart control app
The DMP-A6 can be controlled from a smartphone or tablet using the free Eversolo Controller mobile app. This will allow you to simply access your music while enjoying a remote interface for easy use from your sofa.

I had a standard DMP-A6 but was allowed to trade it in at Magna for a MASTER edition. My wife didn’t know (yet) that there was a different model of player. :-)
Today she said that she could notice that such a device apparently has to settle, because she said: ‘last night you were listening and for the first time in the past two weeks it finally sounds very natural!’
Hmmmm. I just explained what I did and then we laughed about it.
But getting back to the common question “is the difference noticeable and worth the EUR 400 it costs more?” YES!! 1000%

Meine Bestellung (Eversolo) ist heute geliefert worden ich bin total hin und weg vom Sound für mich eine 1aKaufentscheidung. Was den Versand betrifft ist das doch gut gelaufen es stand ja in der Beschreibung 5-15 Tage Lieferzeit .
Für mich alles gut gelaufen und jeder Zeit wieder.

I can only confirm what MAX said. An impressive newcomer. It has excellent functionality, excellent usability and is very well made. combined with a sound quality that is pretty much untouchable for under a grand to produce a truly outstanding all-rounder.

The sound is really excellent, without exaggerating, precise and clear. The interface is fast and hassle-free. The unit is very easy to use via its touch screen and the possibility of casting this screen on your phone, a must for piloting from the sofa. It supports without any issue Amazon music in 192khz
I installed a 256GB SSD drive in the unit for my local music files. All in all a great unit for a very attractive price!
