Why Choose A Dynamic Headphone…When You Can have Planar?

Dynamic headphones utilize conductors that vibrate in limited areas of the diaphragm. Result is that a large percentage of the diaphragm cannot be directly driven by those conductors.

Planar headphones have conductive layers over almost all of the diaphragm. Evenly driven by these conductors, result is significantly lower distortion than conventional dynamic headphones.

Dynamische hoofdtelefoons maken gebruik van geleiders die trillen in beperkte delen van het diafragma. Gevolg is dat een groot percentage van het membraan niet direct door die geleiders kan worden aangedreven.

Planar hoofdtelefoons hebben geleidende lagen over bijna het hele diafragma. Gelijkmatig aangedreven door deze geleiders, is het resultaat aanzienlijk lagere vervorming dan conventionele dynamische hoofdtelefoons.

Les écouteurs dynamiques utilisent des conducteurs qui vibrent dans des zones limitées du diaphragme. Le résultat est qu’un grand pourcentage du diaphragme ne peut pas être directement entraîné par ces conducteurs.

Les écouteurs planaires ont des couches conductrices sur presque tout le diaphragme. Uniformément entraîné par ces conducteurs, le résultat est une distorsion nettement inférieure à celle des écouteurs dynamiques conventionnels.

Le cuffie dinamiche utilizzano conduttori che vibrano in aree limitate del diaframma. Il risultato è che una grande percentuale del diaframma non può essere guidata direttamente da quei conduttori.

Le cuffie planari hanno strati conduttivi su quasi tutto il diaframma. Uniformemente guidato da questi conduttori, il risultato è una distorsione significativamente inferiore rispetto alle cuffie dinamiche convenzionali.
