REGENERATIVE POWER SUPPLY
The Audio-GD proprietary integrated regenerative power supply functions as a built-in electric generator within the unit, effectively eliminating noise from the main power source. By delivering ultra-low noise and a clean AC wave to power the DDC, this innovative feature actively regenerates the main power supply while blocking unwanted noise from the power line. The result is an audio experience characterized by utmost neutrality and analog sound quality beyond imagination.
An independent balanced regenerative wave generator crafts a novel ultra-low noise waveform at 400Hz. The selection of the 400Hz frequency is deliberate, as it exhibits superior efficiency compared to the conventional 50/60Hz. At this specific frequency, 400Hz, the audio is enhanced to faithfully reproduce a genuine and pleasing analog sound. Amplified by balanced gain amps with robust output stages, the regenerative transformers are propelled to generate exceptionally clean AC power. This meticulously regenerated clean AC power is then directed to separate Class A PSUs power supplies, individually catering to both the left and right channels.

Audio-GD Reports:
- “The built-in HDMI-IIS input can connect to source devices with a compatible HDMI-IIS output.”
- “The HDMI input signal rejects jitter, resynchronizes the clock and data, and regenerates an accurate clock signal, significantly improving the sound quality of connected sources, especially low-end and mid-range devices.”
- “The source’s HDMI output must match the diagram below, and the MCLK signal should be lower than 40MHz (most sources use a 24.576MHz clock, which is compatible with the DI-25HE HDMI input).”
- “We tested the DI-2014 (a 10-year-old device), a $300 CD player, and other sources connected to the DI-25HE. The sound quality improved noticeably, nearly matching the DI-25HE when directly connected to a MacBook Pro
