TIDAL 3 MONTHS SUBSCRIPTION INLCUDED
- Valid for a 3 month Opt Out trial for new users only.
The mini-i 3 series can be operated by means of a supplied remote control and the rotary knob on the front.
The DAC section is based on the ESS Saber ES9038Q2M DAC chip. Together with the Crystek CCHD-950 femto clock (in MINI-I PRO 3) this makes for an excellent DAC section. The USB (type C) input supports the highest bitrates and MQA (MQA only on MINI-PRO 3).
The balanced headphone amplifier consists of almost perfectly symmetrical amplifier circuits for the left and right channels. They provide ample output power with low distortion and low noise.
Roon Ready
Roon finds the links between your music collection and the millions of tracks available on Internet, so you can start with the music you know, then explore and discover new music. The Mini-i Pro 3 acts as an endpoint in the Roon streaming media system, they transparently discover and connect to Roon without any configuration, and bit-perfect audio is delivered from Roon to Mini-i Pro 3.
MQA (Master Quality Authenticated)
PRO VERSION ONLY – MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) is an award-winning British technology that delivers the sound of the original master recording. The master MQA file is fully authenticated and is small enough to easily be streamed. The Mini-i Pro 3 is a MQA full decoder, which enables you to play back MQA audio files and streams without any software decoding, delivering the sound of the original master recording. Visit How MQA Works for more information.
BALANCED HEADPHONE AMP
The Mini-i 3 and Mini-i Pro 3 feature a fully balanced headphone amplifier. This allows the left and right channel signals to pass through a nearly perfect symmetrical amplifier circuit, providing ample headphone output power with low distortion and low noise. The output power of single-ended headphone connection is increased by 50%, and the balanced headphone output is increased by 3 times compared to the previous generation. The addition of a 4.4mm balanced headphone jack makes it easier to connect various popular balanced headphones.

H.A.J. de Goede (proprietario verificato) –
I listened with Bluetooth for the first few weeks, but this was clearly less than I was used to through my Modified Marantz KI Pearl CD player.
I now use Roon with the NUC 10 Intel i5 and that makes a world of difference!
In the direct comparison with CD v/s streaming I hear no difference whatsoever,
Considering price / quality, the Matrix is very good and recommended for anyone who does not want or can spend more. In short, I am very satisfied with it.

The package arrived today in perfect conditions. After unpacking the mini, I had it rest for several hours as it was cold as ice …
That gave me time to uninstall my pro-ject streamer & dac in my office.
The installation was easy and setup in Roon too.
