After three weeks, my Audio-gd A1 amplifier is finally acquiring the tonal density and sound fluidity I was awaiting for. These are essential features as I mainly listen to classical music: Claudio Arrau's piano, in Brahms, or Jessye Norman's voice in Schoenberg's Erwartung are not easy feed for any amplifier. Here, they are reproduced with great panache and feeling. I don't know what genre of music kingwa listens to, but I must say the neutrality of his audio devices is never sterile or indifferent. And I'm still awaiting the opportunity to experiment full ACSS wiring for the first time!
Having acquired through Magna Hi-fi, some years ago, an Audio-gd DAC-19 and a NFB1-Amp, I was enjoying them either with my Yba amplifier and Thiel loudspeakers or with Hifiman-he560 headphones. Later on, Jos expertly modified my DAC into a NOS-19, which is wonderful. As I preferred the Audio-gd to the Yba preamplifier (which is quite more expensive), I was wondering what would be like having a full Audio-gd system. I now have a Master-1 preamplifier (second-hand) and this A1 I've acquired again through Magna-Hifi. Jos was right telling me that I would be satisfied with the A1. I didn't wanted to have an huge amplifier as the Master-3, although I'm sure it is very good. It seems no one is talking about this small power amplifier (the aluminium case is, in itself, the heat-sink, which explains its small dimension), but I assure you it is a very musical amplifier, with excellent dynamics and power reserve.
Although I'm living in Portugal, I see Magna-Hifi as my main audio providers and counsellors. Yes, they are in the Netherlands, but when you are interested in Audio-gd (which is not, I insist, an anonymous «industrial» hi-fi maker, as there are so many in China or elsewhere) the only thing I can say is that Europe makes sense! And I'm talking not only about commercial convenience, but also about friendly exchange and trust. Many thanks!

I’ve been playing and having them on for a long time now. More or less since I got them.
It’s pure amazing. I tried a Lyngdorf 2170 as a pre amp and also as a amp (which is said to be in the upper class of sound) and still it can’t compete with these two. Amazing performance!

Surprising, revealing, very good!
I received it a few days ago and started it immediately. The sound was sterile, cold, flat, with hardly any resolution and the music closed.. After a few minutes of calming down, I decided to do a burn burn for 20-30 hours and try again.
I have tried it again and… THE LIGHT WAS ON. I like what I hear, in fact I like it so much that it doesn't seem the same. Huauuu, it sounds open, balanced with a lot of resolution, so much so that the music flows naturally, “incredible”. It is expressive and vitally boosts the entire bass-mid-treble range. It is very musical and recovers so much ambient music that it fills each song. I have decided to change the € 10 USB cable for the hihg-end equipment, a Tellurium Diamond and the rca one for a Tellurium Diamond. The result is overwhelming. It is more natural, much recovery of music, several tones of the instruments in relief are perceived ,,,, with energy. I'm very happy. It is a device that makes me enjoy music. Even from recordings from 30 years ago, it brings them to life. I use it as a DAC and the headphones are connected to the amp to valves. I am positively impressed.

I received my HOLO AUDIO MAY DAC kte about 10 days ago. I listen to Lieder, string quartets, symphonic music and opera. Listening to my favorite works with MAY is magical. So much detail with a complete absence of anything unnatural really immerses me into recordings I have adored for a long time. The clarity is scary without calling attention to itself. This DAC is neither “bright” nor “dark”, simply …accurate. My inner experience is so visceral, I must choose works with which I am prepared to connect. I can detect no bandwidth limitation and so far, every instrument and voice sounds impeccably “right”. Nothing is exaggerated nor subdued – only believable. And so much texture is grin-inducing. I am very happy to hear my favorite music through such an accomplished instrument. This machine is important to me. I am closer to the sounds I need to make living worth it. My Jay’s Audio CDT-2 Mkll. disc transport is connected to MAY via I2S HDMI (PSAudio pinout) connection. ECJ

I ordered the Audio-GD - R2R 11 DAC at Magna Hifi 3 weeks ago on advice of a good friend.

As I live and work nearby, I asked Jos to collect it, rather than have it delivered. This was scheduled within a day.
While talking about the intended use as a single DAC rather than a head phone DAC/Amplifier, Jos suggested to change the 2019 setting on the Output. This was fixed in 5 minutes, while drinking a cup of coffee.
Asking about burn-in hours, Jos advised to extend them at home, which resulted in great sound within 3 weeks.

Today I received the device and seriously, my hands are shaking while I am writing this letter to you. I know that you said that the burn-in period is 2-3 weeks but we just couldn't hold trying it with my girlfriend.

I played classical music and brass music mostly for 15 years to the point that I can't listen to classical music anymore but today we picked up some old favourites, set up the device and played them while sitting in the sweet spot. We just kept listening to the music without talking and we both felt that we start to cry if we don't hold it back.

I read a lot about Audio GD in the last few days and I found those bad reviews and measurements that I am sure you also know. I graduated as an electrical engineer and I can read those measurements and I admit I even thought about canceling the order but so good that I did not! Even if the measurements are not good as other devices on the market, it is beyond dispute that the sound is fantastic!

It is already fantastic without burn-in, the sound of the instruments are so real, it is unbelievable! Thanks again for the fantastic device and the discount! You got a fan! If it helps your business, I am more than happy to write a review anywhere and I am going to recommend you to my audio friends!

Immediate impression (even with DAC still cold) is a better resolution more defined bass and structure and "room". Like it, definitely was worth doing it.
I highly recommend the Audio-GD - 2x Accusilicon AS318B Femto Clock Upgrade (90M & 98M) upgrade.

After the burn time I am very satisfied with the MagnaHifi equipment. The Mano Ultra player, the HE1 preamplifier and the Master 3 power amplifier are of high quality.
Although my Dac and speakers are lower class, the music is very enjoyable.
The spatial effect is by far the best I've ever heard :-D The sense of presence of musical instruments and singers is unique.
I only wish the HE1 was not so big :)

Hi Rob! R7 arrived and singing. I think it needs a good burn in to settle, but it already sounds better, more easy and organic, less edgy but detailed. Even bass seems to be tighter.
